We have created a little oasis of calm where you can get away from the rush of daily life. That doesn’t mean you have to sit around reading all day (although there are plenty of quiet corners to read in) as the area is famous for its walking and cycling opportunities and places to visit in nature or to explore the fascinating history of Cathar Country. But here at Las Coumeilles we want you to be able to relax.
We’ve added some new things (like the hot tub, sauna, tipi and gypsy caravan) and we’ve made the 1 hectare garden a secluded sanctuary where you can relax in peace.
Our facilities include a 10m outdoor covered swimming pool (eco-heated April to October) and pool house with a well equipped summer kitchen for the warmer months only. To soothe your tired legs after a day in the mountains we have a hot tub that is at 38º all the time, with stunning views. Free wifi throughout the house. We don’t have televisions in the rooms as we think you’ll enjoy getting away from that too. Your room will include fluffy towels and bath robes for that journey to the hot tub or sauna.
Breakfast is included in your room rate – a mixture of local artisan bread and croissants with home made jam, cereals, cheeses and yoghurts. Depending on when you’re with us, there’s also a selection of seasonal fruit. Evening meals (table d’hôte) featuring fantastic local ingredients, are available by arrangement.
