Table d’Hote

We are pleased to offer evening meals for residents at Las Coumeilles by prior reservation.  For those of you walking the Sentier Cathar, we will endeavour to be flexible with the days we offer evening meals as the nearest restaurant is a car ride away.  Please ask when making a booking.

We normally offer dinners on four nights of the week.  If you have a late arrival on another day we may be able to arrange something simple, but otherwise we think you’ll enjoy sampling the cuisine of the area and we can offer suggestions for good local restaurants.

We have an alcohol licence to serve wine with meals and a glass of wine or beer is included in the meal rate.  A wine list is also available should you wish to purchase additional drinks.

The rules of table d’hôte are that is is one meal, shared by all and with us as the B&B hosts at our family table.   While the Covid risk remains, we won’t be able to share a table with you, but we can deliver ‘takeaway’ to the poolhouse or the guest salon in the house.  In the summer months we host barbecue nights and whenever possible eat on the terrace outside so that you can enjoy the late evening sunshine and the views.  

Our ingredients are sourced locally wherever possible and our meals will often be vegetarian or fish as we like to eat as healthily as we can. (Hilary’s soups are something of a legend amongst family and friends and there is always a pot on the go.)  Many of the vegetables come straight out of the garden and our chickens provide daily fresh eggs.

If you have particular dietary requirements please let me know as most can be accommodated quite easily.

Table d’hôte price €20 including a 25cl glass of wine, beer or soft drink. Menu available daily for the next day and reservation needed by breakfast time on the day.

We are sorry that the terms of our licence do not allow for sales of alcohol except for consumption with a meal.
